Jessica Cain is a reporter for WWNY-TV and anchors 7 News Weekend on Sunday.

She grew up about an hour south of Watertown in Camillus, NY, and graduated Magna Cum Laude from Syracuse University in 2006 with a dual degree in broadcast journalism and political science.

Before she came to Watertown, Jessica worked for NewsChannel 9 in Syracuse, where she was the first ever producer of The Morning News Weekend. She also reported for WSYR radio in Syracuse, and had several internships, including spending a semester at NBC's London Bureau.

Some of Jessica's favorite stories at 7 News include meeting England's Prince Edward when he visited Kingston, and a homecoming ceremony on Fort Drum right after Valentine's Day.

She received the New York State Broadcasters Association's 2008 award for Outstanding Spot News for her story "Police Standoff."

In her spare time, Jessica enjoys playing the piano, cheering for Syracuse University sports teams, exploring the outdoors in the North Country, and spending time with her family.
