Rachel Kent is from Merrick, Long Island, a graduate of New York University with a Bachelor's Degree in broadcast journalism with a minor in English.

After getting her start with New York University Television, Rachel interned at Fox News in New York City and also at WPIX, the CW affiliate.

Two years experience at 7 News, Rachel has enjoyed covering Fort Drum's homecoming ceremonies and interacting with the North Country area.
