Matt McClusky

Matt McClusky is a life-long resident of the north country.

Growing up in Adams, Matt graduated from South Jefferson Central School.

His desire to write and report led him to SUNY Oswego, where Matt studied journalism.

After college, Matt worked in the newspaper business and hosted a three hour sports talk radio show in Watertown.

Matt says he will never forget the interaction he had with listeners of his show, and says he is always happy to talk local sports.

Prior to joining 7 News, Matt was the lead play-by-play commentator for our High School Games of the Week on wwnytv.com.

Currently Matt is a reporter for 7 News, which he says allows him to combine two passions, reporting and the north country.

In his free time, Matt spends every available second with his son, Brady, and wife, Sarah.

Matt also enjoys outdoor running and, if he can find time, reading.
