AmVets Auxiliary Post 19 Ogdensburg will host a USO show on May 26th which will be "A Salute to Veterans". Preceded by a prime rib dinner open to the public, the USO show will feature local comedy routines, skits, singers, dancers, and more.

Dawn Flavin and Susan House, co chairs of the event hope to offer the community a fun evening, Mrs. House commented, "we want to salute our veterans from all the wars, from WW1 to present time, therefore we are looking for acts to run 3-5 minutes and want the entire community to get involved. What better way to show our appreciation to our local veterans than to participate in this fun event. "

It's a first come-first honored event, so if you and your friends want to do a skit or an act in this fun show, call one of the numbers listed and sign up your act now. Public is invited to participate, but time and acts are limited, and at the discretion of the USO committee. Rehearsals will be held to accomodate as many as possible.

The evening will begin with a prime rib dinner for $10.00 person and will include the price of the show - reservations are appreciated for this dinner - only so many can be seated at the 5:00 p.m. schedule. USO show will begin at 6:30 p.m. sharp and for those who do not wish to come to the dinner - the USO show will cost $5.00 person. Seating is limited for both - please call 393-6140 for reservations.
