The Pay It Forward Scholarship Fund Presents “The North Country’s Got Talent” Talent Showcase!

The Pay It Forward Scholarship fund was created in 2011 in hopes of sponsoring a portion of enthusiastic students’ college educations. This scholarship was established to ensure that the lack of financial resources does not hold brilliant minds back from pursuing an Undergraduate degree.

On Thursday, May 3rd, we will be hosting auditions for our first annual talent showcase. The auditions will be held from 2:00 – 9:00 PM in the Carthage Central High School cafeteria. The individual and group application fee is $25.00. Selected talent acts will be contacted by phone and/or email and will go on to compete in the talent showcase on Saturday, May 12 in the Carthage Central High School auditorium at 7:00 PM. The grand prize winner will receive a check for $1000.00.

The Pay It Forward Scholarship fund’s goal is to raise enough money to award one or more graduating seniors from Carthage Central High School with a scholarship anywhere from $1000 - $5000. The winner(s) of the scholarship(s) will be announced at the Carthage Central High School Awards Ceremony, which is held annually in the month of June.
