The Jefferson Lewis Music Teachers Association is sponsoring a benefit recital for Grant Mullin and family. The recital will feature the area's music teachers and their ensembles.

Grant Mullin, son of Erin & Allen Mullin Jr. of Adams, was diagnosed on July 14, 2011 with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. He is a patient at the Golisano Children's Hospital in Syracuse and has been undergoing weekly chemotherapy since diagnosis, achieving Remission in August. He recently finished the intense 8 month treatment and is currently in the Maintenance phase which will continue until September 2014. Any funds raised will offset the cost of treatments, medicine, and travel.
