This event is to raise money for local 11 yr old Hanna LeBarge who is undergoing genetic testing for a rare brain disorder Tuberous sclerosis. Tuberous sclerosis is a group of two genetic disorders that affect the skin, brain/nervous system, kidneys, and heart, and cause ...tumors/tubers to grow. Hanna has 3 tubers on the left frontal lobe of the brain. All proceeds from this event will help with travel expenses to and from Hanna's medical appointments to Burlington Vermont and Boston's Children’s Hospital in Massachusetts. Hanna is the daughter of Brian and Aimee LeBarge. Local instructor Tammy will be doing X-Training for an hour prior to a 3K walk/run on Pestle Street. Some X-Training will be specifically geared towards the youth with fun dance exercises. We will also be having raffles and other events for the adults and their children. Donation of $5.00 or more will be accepted for each event per person. This event will be followed by a Spaghetti dinner from 4-8pm in the Russell Fire Hall. If you are not able to attend you may send a donation to the "Russell Fire department" marked donation for Hanna (any questions on sending your donation call Iris 347-3135) All proceeds from these events will go to Hanna.
