The Morley Library Association will hold two sales to benefit the Morley Library during the Morley Community Garage Sale Day in May.
A Bake Sale will be held in the Morley Library Association Community Room in the Library on Saturday, May 12 from 8 AM to 3PM.
A huge Book Sale will be held at the Morley Library on Friday, May 11 from 4PM to 6PM and on Saturday, May 12 from 8 AM to 3PM.
The Book Sale will feature a large selection of like-new hardcover best sellers by authors like James Patterson, Patricia Cornwell, John Sanford and Clive Cussler .
Romance, western, science fiction and fantasy, mysteries in both hardcover and paperback, reference books, cook books, how-to, biographies, history, travel, crafts, gardening, quilting and other non-fiction books will all be sold at bargain prices ranging from $.25 to $1.
A variety of magazines along with audio and video tapes, CD’s, and DVD’s as well as many children’s and young adult books are included in the offerings of this sale,including several popular children’s series like the BabySitters Club, Goosebumps and Magic Tree House.
The Bake Sale will offer a large selection of home made cookies, pies, breads and other special treats.
All proceeds of the Bake Sale will be used for renovations and upkeep for the library building. Like all area libraries, the Morley Library book budget is limited and Book Sale proceeds will supplement that budget.
