Event Description

Girl Scout Troop 50097 in Carthage is hosting an Iron Girl Cupcake Competition open to the public in order to help the Troop defer the cost of their trip to Washington, DC to celebrate the 100th Anniversary of Girl Scouts.

The event is on May 12th from 2:00-3:30 at the Carthage Park Recreational Building.

TO BE A BAKER:
Entry fee for individual Bakers to enter the competition is $10, or $2 per Baker on a Team of Bakers. That entry fee gets each Baker tasting tickets to enjoy his/her fellow Bakers' delicious cupcakes. The theme for cupcakes is SUMMER LOVIN'. Cupcakes need to follow the theme to qualify for judging.

Two age categories for judging, 17 and Under, and 18+. Prizes will be awarded for Best Overall Cupcake, Best Decorated, and Taster's Choice. Prizes will be awarded at 3:45 pm.

Email GSTroop50097@yahoo.com to get an entry form. Must fill out entry form and submit fee to participate.
