Please join Brockville Women’s Network on May 10th, 2012 as they welcome mom and editor Laura Wright as she speaks to us about the challenges of raising a child with a mental illness.  Her experiences as a mom have made her a real crusader for children’s mental health.  Laura’s talk, entitled “I’m Not a Bad Mother: Moving past the blame and shame of children’s mental illness,” is a frank look at the way parents of children with mental illnesses are judged.
