Event Description

The Farmer Boy Days at the NNY Agricultural Museum at Stone Mills, Route 180, LaFargeville, N.Y. 13656 will be on June 6th, 7th, 8th. There are still open spaces for schools to attend. The program is geared for 4th grade and follows the NYS curriculum. Activities are all based on the book “Farmer Boy” by Laura Ingles Wilder. They include oxen drawn wagon rides, grinding corn, shelling corn, quilting, milking goats, rug hooking, butter making, bread making, old fashioned schoolhouse, old fashioned games, laundry, windmill operation and animal observation.
