The Lyons Falls Firemen & Auxiliary will be sponsoring their 2nd Annual Little Heroes Day on Saturday, June 30, 2012 from 10am - 6pm. Games and activities from 10am-2pm include: putting out the flames relay race, first aid bingo, firefighter training course, and first aid relay race. Water ball challenges for little heroes(2pm) and local fire departments(5pm). The fire department will be demonstrating what happens at an accident scene with victim extrication at 3pm. Throughout the day, Lewis County Sheriff's Mobile Communications Trailer will be onsite with 911 information, the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children will be providing Child IDs, and Fort Drum soldiers will be onsite with a military vehicle. Food and refreshments will be available. Children will receive a firemen's helmet and activity books/crayons.
