Join The Thousand Islands Land Trust (TILT) at Derby Hill, which is a spectacular viewing place to observe migrating raptors. Ornithologist Gerry Smith will be on hand to discuss the significance of the location and help identify bird species. Participants will meet at the Derby Hill Observatory at 9:30 am. For directions, go to www.derbyhill.org. TILT plans to stay until about 1:00 pm. Please bring your own binoculars and a lunch. It can be windy and cool on Derby Hill, so dress in layers for changeable weather and wear sturdy shoes.
