Beneift Gouverneur Central High School European Trip 2013
Snow Date - March 2
During the summer of 2013, 18 local high school students will be traveling on an adventure of a lifetime while exploring some of the world’s great historical cities. Five of our teachers and two parents will chaperone a 10 day trip to Europe.

The group will fly to London with a visit to Windsor Castle, they will then venture Paris with a side trip to Versailles, an overnight train ride will take them to Italy. There they will explore Florence and Rome as well as Vatican City.

Each person is responsible to pay for their own trip; therefore, multiple fundraisers have taken place from car washes and bottle drives to selling of flowers. This event is the pinnacle of our fundraising campaign.

JAZZ UP THE NIGHT will showcase the high school Jazz Band. Five of the Jazz members are going on the trip and will be featured throughout the evening. Several members of the select choir are also going on the trip and have been asked to perform. Other members of the trip will be acting as host/hostesses throughout the evening, serving coffee. A complimentary dessert is part of the admission price. There will be a silent auction with winners announced at the end of the evening. We currently have gourmet food items, art, gift certificates and theme baskets, items continue to arrive.

For more details on the trip, you may call Evelyn Barton at the school 287-1900.
