Event Description

Natural Easter Egg Dyeing at TAUNY

Adults and children are invited to join Flip Filippi of Canton for natural egg dying on Saturday, March 30, at The TAUNY Center. A session from 10 a.m. to 12 noon is scheduled for teens and adults; the 1 to 3 p.m. session is designed for children ages 7 to 12.
Participants will learn about the tradition of egg decorating and will use a traditional technique of imprinting leaves and flowers onto eggs and dyeing with local plant dyes. All materials are provided, but participants are encouraged to bring leaves and flowers they would like to use in their designs.

The cost for either session is $15 per person ($10 for TAUNY Friends). Space is limited, and pre-registration is required by calling 386-4289 or emailing Hannah at programs@tauny.org. More information at www.TAUNY.org.
