Event Description

On April 13th participants will run for their lives to escape the zombie apocalypse on the campus of Clarkson University, all to benefit Special Olympics New York! The rUNDEAD is a 5k run in which runners will start off with a flag belt and three flags representing their lifelines. Zombies will be stationed throughout the course attempting to take these one at a time. Once a runner loses all three flags, they are “dead” and the zombies have won. While the runner can still finish the race, they will not be eligible for awards.

Runners can still register in one of two flights – the competitive “Fast Food” group or the non-competitive “All You Can Eat” group. You can register online as an individual or a team in advance for $25 at or sign up that day for $30. Each runner will receive access to the course, race day festivities and an official rUNDEAD race day t-shirt.

Zombie registration is also $25 for pre-registration or $30 for day-of registration. All pre-registered zombies will be transformed in our “Mob Tent” the day of the event and will receive a rUNDEAD race t-shirt and access to all race day festivities!

Pre-registration will close at NOON on Thursday, April 11th.
