Many older adults want to remain independent for as long as they can. But as a person grows older, keeping up a home and self care become more difficult. However, with planning and a few adjustments many people can stay independent and safe in their own home.Return to event list.
The Alzheimer’s Association and The Office for the Aging would like to invite you to join us to celebrate May as Older American’s month. We will be hosting a Safety Expo on Wednesday, May 1st, 2013 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Salmon Run Mall. The purpose of the Safety Expo is to raise awareness of available programs and services in Jefferson County that provide safety resources to the elderly and their caregivers.

Community Action Planning Council
