Event Description

The farm is a historical learning center dedicated to the preservation of Mennonite faith and culture and the way of life of Lewis County farmers.

Cost: $5 for adults with free parking and FREE ADMISSION for all persons age 18 and under.

Activities: New this year will be a demonstration of using a hayfork utilizing a rope and pulley system to lift hay up into the haymow and cutting hay with a scythe. A hymn singing (a cappella) will occur around noon, and the Adirondack Community Chorus will sing "old time" hymns at 1:30 p.m. There will be live animals, wagon rides, old-fashioned woodworking, guided tours, arts and crafts, silent auction, flea market, children's games, home-cooked meal, grilled foods, baked goods, homemade ice cream, and much more.
