Event Description

Akwesasne Women Singers a group led by Theresa "Bear" Fox of Hogansburg will share their culture through music and dance. The women combine their talents and messages to help protect and preserve the Mohawk language as well as their traditional customs and stories. The performance is during Raquette River Awareness week when people and places along the 174 mile river corridor celebrate and care for the river. Bring a chair and enjoy the evenings - free admission. Back up rain location is the Pavilion on Sugar Bush Lane.
