Event Description

“Discover the New Solar” is the title of a presentation that will be held by Scott Shipley of Northern Lights Energy. The talk is designed to help business and residents understand more about solar energy systems, and how they can benefit from solar energy.

Scott will discuss various topics such as the misconception that solar energy systems are too expensive, and don’t provide real value for your home. Scott will discuss how electricity is as much of an everyday staple item, as gasoline is for your vehicle. You must consume and pay for electricity every single day. He will then explain how solar can greatly reduce the lifetime expense of electricity.

Scott will also discuss other topics related to solar energy, such as: protecting our nation’s power grid, environmental benefits, grid tied systems vs. off grid systems, new incentives, plus more.

If you have ever had any questions about solar energy, you will want to attend this presentation. The talk will be held on August 8th, in Cranberry Lake at the Clifton Community Library. Scott encourages everyone from the Adirondack and Seaway Valley regions to attend the presentation. It will give them a chance to learn more about the solar industry, plus the chance to speak face-to-face with a local professional about solar energy in Northern New York.
