Event Description

The Jefferson County Historical Society, Watertown, is hosting its 5th Annual Fashion Show and Luncheon at the beautiful Paddock Mansion on Saturday, October 19th, Noon to 3:00pm.
The show, entitled “Women Who Make a Difference”, will pay tribute to women of Northern New York past and present who continue to make contributions to the fields of business, government, education, the Arts, the Armed Forces, and Medicine. Fashions from the Fall and Winter Collections of Bev and Co., Sackets Harbor will be modeled. Costumes spanning over 125 years from the Jefferson County Historical Society’s collection highlighting the changes in these various forms of work attire will also be on display and range from an historic nursing uniform to business attire.
Models will include: Watertown City Manager Sharon Addison; Lynn Pietroski from the Greater Watertown Northern New York Chamber of Commerce; Dawn Ludovici, Assistant Superintendent of Programs, Jeff-Lewis BOCES; Physician’s Assistant Katherine Kolton from Watertown Internists, P.C. and Ursula Mickle, Schloss Studio.
The afternoon will include a complimentary wine and cheese social hour with guitar accompaniment by Ian Wagner followed by a catered luncheon featuring a seasonal menu of soup, salad, sandwiches, and dessert. Seating is limited. Paid reservations should be made by October 16. Tickets are $30 for JCHS members, $35 for non-members.
