On December 27th, 2013 Steve Soboleski went to Pulaski Health center because he felt like he had the flu. He could hardly walk and his legs and arms were retaining fluid. They checked his Oxygen level and it was 71%.... 95-99 % is normal. Noca ambulance transferred Steve to Oswego Hospital where he ended up in a coma and on a ventilator. Steve stayed in Oswego Hospital until December 31st, 2013 then was transferred to Upstate Medical Center for the next month. When he awoke he couldn't walk and had to regain his strength. Steve has no health insurance and can't really go back to work until the summer. Steve gets stronger everyday but it has been a long road. Steve has a wonderful family who has been by his side everyday. Steve has a 15 year old son who is his life and he needs his dad. Steve and his brother have been DJ's (Twin Towers Music) for 30 years and life has been good. Steve's final diagnosis was respiratory failure along with lower lung pneumonia.Return to event list.
Steve has accumulated a large amount of medical bills due to no health insurance and all funds raised from this event will go towards those bills...
We will have several raffles, a 50/50, a bake sale, and crafters and vendors!
