Alfred J. LaRose, 70, of State Route 3, Sackets Harbor died Tuesday June 5 at his home under the care of his family and Hospice of Jefferson County.

Mr. LaRose was born December 12, 1941 in Watertown to Alfred Ralph and Marie (Docteur) LaRose.  He graduated from General Brown High school in 1960. Mr. LaRose served in the United States Air Force from 1961-1964. He worked for Security Supply a plumbing supply distributor, in Watertown

Mr. LaRose enjoyed history and building model ships and sailboats.

Surviving are a brother Daniel (Susan) LaRose, Iowa and their children Kenneth, Daniel, Randy and Anthony, a sister in law Mary Lou Addazio and her children Terry Frink, Keith LaRose and families, four nieces Tammy Hanson, Penny Sawyer, Tina Sawyer and Sandy Shepherd and a nephew Ross Mothersell and a great nephew Mike (Jenna) Cowles, Erie PA. and several other nieces and nephews.

There are no calling hours or funeral. A private burial will be at Dexter Cemetery at the convenience of the family.

Donations may be made in his honor to Hospice of Jefferson County.

Arrangements are with the Reed & Benoit Funeral Home.
