Amanda Lynn Lashomb, 21Amanda Lynn Lashomb, age 21, died Friday May 18, 2012, at the Canton-Potsdam Hospital, surrounded by her loving family; her death was attributed to Lou Gehrig’s disease, aka; ALS. Funeral service will be held Tuesday, May 22, 2012, at 10:30 AM, at the Garner Funeral Home, Potsdam, NY, Pastor Lee Sweeny will officiate. Burial will follow at Chapel Hill Cemetery. Calling hours will be Monday May 21, 2012 from 7:00 to 9:00 PM, at the Garner Funeral Home. Contributions may be made to the charity of ones choice or to Hospice of the St. Lawrence Valley. Amanda is survived by her parents: Jamie and Cindy Lashomb, her brother Jesse J. Lashomb, and her grandparents Elbridge and Bonnie Randall, all of Parishville, NY. She was predeceased by her grandparents Gary and Kathy Lashomb. Amanda was born February 27, 1991, in Potsdam, the daughter of Jamie and Cindy Randall Lashomb. She was a 2011 graduate of Parishville Hopkinton Central School. She was currently a student at SUNY Canton, enrolled in Nursing. She enjoyed spending time with her boyfriend Tyler Lamphere, music, reading, smiling, butterflies, art and design and helping others.
