Andrew W. Biggs, 37, formerly of northern New York
The funeral service for Andrew W. Biggs will be Monday, May 6, 11:00am at the Indian River Baptist Church, Philadelphia.
Burial will follow the service at Brownville Cemetery. A prayer service will be said before the service at the funeral home at 9:45am.
Calling hours will be at the funeral home from 1:00pm - 4:00pm Sunday, May 5.
Andrew passed away Saturday, April 27, 2013 while working on a security detail in Las Vegas, NV. He was 37 years old.
Andrew was born in Indianapolis, IN December 12, 1975, a son to Robert and Lillian Fleming Biggs. Upon moving to New York he was educated locally, graduating from General Brown High School in 1994. Following graduation he went on to receive a bachelor's degree from SUNY Brockport.
He worked as a Border Patrol agent for 12 years; five of which were spent on Wellesley Island, and seven spent in Arizona.
Andrew played Red & Black football for 4 years. He enjoyed golfing, hunting, fishing, the outdoors and spending time with his children.
Andrew is survived by his mother, Lillian, Watertown; his fiancée, Mariann Dimitrov, Nevada; a son, Jacob; a daughter, Lauren; two step-daughters, Mia and Alexis; two brothers, Robert Jr. (Paula), Brewerton, Anthony (Cathleen), Pillar Point; two sisters, Shirley (Michael) Martin, Liverpool, Deborah Biggs, Watertown; as well as several nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts and cousins.
