Arnold W. Guyette, 93, died Saturday morning at Samaritan Keep Nursing Home, where he had resided for more than a year.

Mr. Guyette was born May 10, 1920 in Watertown to Charles and Mary Guyette. He attended Watertown schools and served in the United States Army during World War II. He worked for the railroad for a time and then for Champion Mills as a boiler tender for many years, until his retirement.

He married Marjorie Smith in 1989. She died in 2009.

He is survived by three sons, Rodney (Cathy) Guyette, Carthage, Raymond (Shelly), Black River and Donald (Wanell) Guyette, GA; a step-son, Dennis Guyette, Indiana; a step-daughter, Diane Guyette, Maryland; several grandchildren.

There are no calling hours or funeral. Burial will be at North Watertown Cemetery at a later date.
