Audrey Pearl Derouin, Pratt Street, passed away Thursday morning at the Samaritan Keep Home where she had resided for 3 years.  She was 82 years old.

Born in Watertown on October 22, 1931, she was a daughter of John and Jessie Hodge. She received her high school diploma from Watertown High School.  On January 28, 1951 she married Richard Derouin. Mr. Derouin passed away on April 18, 1985.

She worked for many years at Bomax Inc. on Coffeen Street as a factory worker. She enjoyed reading, plants, word search puzzles, and watching television.

She is survived by her 8 children: Diane (Chung) Kim, Watertown, Walter Derouin, Indiana, Roy (Mary) Derouin, LaFargeville, Rick (Rhonda) Derouin, Louisiana, Patti Freeman, Watertown, Clark (Sherry) Derouin, Depaulville, Jodi (Tim) Hewitt, Copenhagen, Chris (Jenny) Derouin, Pamelia; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is predeceased by her 3 sisters: Carolyn “Joyce” Campbell, Alice Bell, and Betty Vincent.

There are no public services. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are with Reed & Benoit F.H., Inc.
