Beatrice I. Knight, 94, formerly of  East Main St., Watertown died Monday morning at Country Manor Nursing Home in Carthage where she had been a resident since August 2011 .

Mrs. Knight was born May 14, 1918 in Rochester, NY, to William and Lena (Peterson) Anderson.  She attended Watertown High School and was a beautician in her home for many years. She married Victor S. Knight July 19, 1936  at the Bethany United Methodist Parsonage in Watertown. Mr. Knight died December 1, 2001.

Mrs. Knight attended Assembly of God Church, Haley St., Watertown and loved old movies, reading and playing cards and studying her Bible.

Surviving are a daughter and her husband Melody and Jack Recor, Chaumont, two grandchildren Julie Ranieri and Kyle Recor, three great grandchildren Sophia and Nicolas Ranieri and Ella Grace Recor,  a sister Norma Wallingford, Brewerton, NY and many nieces and nephews.  A brother Edward Anderson and three sisters Vera Smith, Myrt Elliott and Violet Reese all died before her.

The funeral service will be Thursday May 10th 6:30pm at the Reed & Benoit Funeral Home. Burial will be private at North Watertown Cemetery. Calling Hours will be Thursday May 10th from 2pm - 6pm at the funeral home.

Donations may be made in her honor to the Assembly of God Church, Haley St., Watertown, NY.
