Brian M. Mandigo, 22, of GouverneurGouverneur – Brian M. Mandigo, 22, passed away Wednesday, February 13, 2012 at his home. Calling hours will be Saturday, February 16th from 10:00 to 11:30 am at the Green Funeral Home, Gouverneur. A graveside service will follow at 12:00 noon at East Riverside Cemetery, Gouverneur. Brian was born January 28, 1991 in Watertown, the son of Louis Mandigo and Cathy Hilfigure. Brian enjoyed helping his friends and neighbors, fixing anything with a motor but he truly enjoyed being outdoors, whether he was hunting or fishing, mowing the lawn or snowblowing the sidewalk. He is survived by his girlfriend Jess Gollinger; his sons Bentley and Kolin Mandigo; his parents Cathy Hilfigure of Gouverneur, Louis Mandigo of Raymondville; sisters Laura Miller of Gouverneur, Crystina Mandigo of Gouverneur, Justice Mandigo of Watertown; Heather LaRock of Fullerville. He is also survived by his maternal grandparents Betty Hilfigure of Syracuse, Lyle Hilfigure Sr. of Montana, paternal grandmother Maria Mandigo of Spain, several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Brian is predeceased by a brother, Wyatt Caskinett, and paternal grandfather, William B. Mandigo. Memorial donations may be made to the Gouverneur Volunteer Fire Department, 33 Clinton Street, Gouverneur, NY 13642. |
