Carol S. Roney, 62, of Watertown

Carol S. Roney, 62, Watertown, passed beyond all worry and care January 21, 2014.

As a child she enjoyed spending time in the kitchen with her mother learning to bake wonderful Austrian Christmas cookies which later in life, so many friends, co-workers and family came to expect and enjoy.

In the last 15 years she became an expert dog-trainer who won 5 Masters Agility Champion titles with her Border Terriers; Falcon and Summer. They also won titles in Earthdog and Summer received the Versatility Excellent Award.

She is survived by her husband Lee Roney and son Hunter K. Roney. She was predeceased by her father, Richard D. LaRouech, and mother Herlinde Karrer LaRouech. She is also survived by her sister, Jenny LaRouech of Potsdam; her brother Raymond LaRouech of East Aurora; sister-in-law Eileen LaRouech and her nephews Richard and Jack LaRouech (all of East Aurora).
