In addition, Charlene is survived by her sisters, Carol and Ronnie White and Claudia Martin, her brothers, Kerney Cole and Simon and Dorothy Cole, all of Akwesasne.  She is also survived by her uncle, Barney and Beatrice Cole of Akwesasne, her sister-in-law, Bessie Cole of Akwesasne; her godmother, Peggy Cole of Akwesasne; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

She was predeceased by her father, Howard, on June 10, 1985; and 3 brothers, Louis in infancy, Joseph “Dust” Cole in July 15, 1982 and Gerald “Wishe” Cole in July 6, 2000.
