Connie L. Cantwell Beebe Castor, 50, of LaFargevilleConnie L. Cantwell Beebe Castor, 50, of Penet Square Dr., LaFargeville, NY, died at her home January 22nd. Connie was born on November 4, 1962, in Alexandria Bay, NY, the daughter of Barry M. and Caroline C. Wells Cantwell. Connie graduated from LaFargeville Central School. She was a bartender at P.J.’s River Rat Café in Fisher’s Landing. A previous marriage to Edward Beebe ended in divorce. She married Matthew L. Castor in Jacksonville, FL, on February 14, 2009. She was a past Cub Scout Den Mother, a member of the Redwood Fire Dept. Ladies Auxiliary, and she enjoyed dancing and playing darts. Besides her husband, Matthew, Connie is survived by her mother, Caroline; her children, James M. and Kristine M. Beebe, both of Alexandria Bay, and Theodore E. Beebe, Watertown; sisters, Edna J. (William) Rooney, Alexandria Bay, and Mary J. Thornton, Clearwater, FL; a brother, Ronald M. Cantwell, Rochester, NY; a half-sister, Rebecca N. Goldfeder, Rochester, NY; a step-brother, Randy H. Thornton, Alexandria Bay; her step-mother, Jeanne Boeff; several nieces and nephews and one great-niece. She is predeceased by her father, Barry Cantwell, her half-brother, Jeremy N. Cantwell, and her grandparents, Bob and Edna Cantwell, Phoebe J. Daughen, and Ross Wells Sr. Calling hours will be held on Saturday, January 26th from 1-3 pm at Costello Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 3:00 pm at the funeral home, with Father Leo Wiley officiating. Memorial donations may be made in Connie’s name to the Jefferson County SPCA. |
