Waddington- Doris Hamilton Campbell, 88, of Hamilton Gardens, passed away on May 19, 2012 at United Helpers Nursing Home in Ogdensburg.
Born on May 8, 1924 in Hermon, NY, Doris was the daughter of Berton and Ellen (Reed) Hamilton. She
graduated from Herman High School in 1942.
She married Bernard P. Campbell on December 23, 1946 at St. John's The Baptist Church in Madrid. Mr. Campbell predeceased her on March 25, 1997.
Doris is survived by a son and a daughter, Colin B. and wife Susan of Waddington, Meredith and husband Roger Domras of Ranson, W. VA. Four grandchildren, Melissa and husband Peter
Thomas of Waddington, Craig and wife Kristen Campbell of Williamson, NY, Erin and husband Nick Pavicic of W. Richland, WA , MI. Jeffrey and wife Lisa Domras of Dillsburg, PA, six great grandchildren; Josh Tiernan, Cole and Kate Campbell, Mitchell, Vance and Nathan Pavicic.
She was predeceased by a infant son and a infant daughter.
Doris was a homemaker and active member of the American Legion Auxillary of Waddington for a number of years. She was a life member of VFW in Ogdensburg. Memorial contributions may be made to local Humane Society.
There will be no calling hours. Family graveside service will be at the convenience of the family.
