Elaine Norris Farr Trainham passed away on July, 8, 2013 at 9:17 a.m. after a long and arduous battle with illness. On the days preceding and the day of her passing she was surrounded by loved ones and family.

Elaine was a beautiful woman both inside and out and her soul radiated love for everyone. She suffers no more and has rejoined her family, friends and the Father, our Lord, in Heaven.

Elaine Trainham is the newest and most stylish Angel to enter through those pearly Gates. Her love and memory hasn’t left the realm of the living and will continue to brighten and inspire the lives of those who have survived her.

Elaine Farr was born September 17, 1935, and was married to Horace Lindsey Trainham, now deceased, from 1955 – 1972. She graduated from Watertown High School in 1954.

After her children were out of school she graduated from Jefferson Community College with an Associate’s Degree in the Liberal Arts and went on to graduate from Oswego State University August 26, 1988 with a Bachelor of the Arts Degree. Elaine was also a member of the National Guild of Hypnotists as a certified Hypnotist from 1988 – 1990.

Elaine worked for the United Way R.S.V.P. Program. She also employed by Human Services in Connecticut and Florida caring for physically and mentally challenged individuals.

Elaine is survived by seven children, James Trainham, Linda Borden, Karen Trainham, Timothy Trainham, Thomas Trainham, William Trainham, and Robert Trainham; 15 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren.

A graveside burial is to be held at Glenwood Cemetery on Fri. July 12, 2013 at 2 p.m. and open invitation is extended to family, friends, and anyone whose heart has been touched by this beautiful woman.
