Elizabeth (Betty) Bell-Dietschweiler, 71, of OgdensburgElizabeth (Betty) Bell-Dietschweiler, of State highway 68 Ogdensburg, age 71, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday morning, December 26. Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in Pine Hill Cemetery. Arrangements are with Frary Funeral Home. Mrs. Dietschweiler is survived by her loving husband of almost 50 years of marriage, Donald; a daughter, Kandance Dietschweiler; two sons, Michael and his wife Dawn Dietschweiler and Donald Dietschweiler and his companion Kim Regan; two sisters, Susan Ellison and Katherine Axtell and her husband Terry, both of Ogdensburg; two brothers, Thomas Bell of Rochester and John Bell of Ogdensburg; four grandchildren, Brittany Brianna Dietschweiler and Katelyn, Leanne and Isabell Dietschweiler. Elizabeth was also survived by a special neice Kathleen Bouchard. She is predeceased by two sisters, Rosemary Ferguson and Martha Fisher, a brother James Bell, a granddaughter, Deanna Elizabeth Dietschweiler Elizabeth was born on October 23th in 1941 the daughter of James and Ellen Sobon Bell. She married Donald Dietschweiler August 3rd 1963 with the Rev. David Stinebrickner officiating. She graduated from OFA in 1959. Elizabeth attended Mater Dei College. She first went to work for Ogdensburg Creamery and then Diamond National. She then retired from the Salvation Army where she ran the thrift store. She was a past member of the Moose Lodge, she enjoyed bingo, loved her gazebo and was known for her beautiful flower and garden beds. Elizabeth enjoyed spending time with her beloved family as well as her cats and dogs. Donations can be made in her memory to the Heuvelton Fire Department and the St. Lawrence Valley Chapter of Hospice. |
