Funeral Services for Evelyn Elizabeth Caza, 87, of Fairpark Nursing Home in Maryville,TN where she received excellent care, Prior to that she resided at Maryville Towers in Maryville, TN and formerly of Massena will be held Wednesday (May 9, 2012) at 10:00 am at the Phillips Memorial Home with Rev. Jeff Aiosa officiating. Burial will follow the services at the CalvaryCemetery.
The family will be receiving visitors on Tuesday (May 8, 2012) from 4 - 8:00 pm at the Funeral Home. Evelyn died Saturday (May 5, 2012) at the Blount Memorial Hospital in Maryville, TN.
She is survived by her children Dale and his wife Judy of Massena, Holly and her husband Glenn Jones of Friendsville, TN, a daughter- in-law Linda Caza of Massena, a sister Barbara LeGrow of Massena, 12 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
Evelyn was predeceased by her son Brian and a sister Doris Stuart. She was born in Massena on February 12, 1925 the Daughter of David and Dora Phelps Holliday.
She attended Massena Schools. Evelyn married Gerald Caza on February 12, 1945 and Gerald died October 31, 1967.
Evelyn enjoy learning and speaking Foreign Languages which she spoke 12 different ones. She also enjoyed visiting with her friends and family, crocheting and playing Bingo.
