Harrisville - Floyd C. Moore, 69, formerly of Harrisville, died Wednesday afternoon at the Country Manor Nursing Home where he had resided since October.

He was born in the Town of Pitcairn May 4, 1944 to Harold and Ella Law Moore. He attended Harrisville Central School. He married Beverly Myers July 18, 1964 in Harrisville. He was employed by Viking Cives in Harrisville for 32 years, retiring in June 2000.

He loved the outdoors, making maple syrup, logging, fishing, gardening and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife, Beverly and three children, Floyd and Bonnie, Fine, Tracey and Carrie, Harrisville and Jeffery, Pitcairn. He has six grandchildren, Ashley Moore, Tracey Moore Jr, Brittany Moore, Reed Rose, Christy Fuller, Cory Fuller and two great grandchildren, Zachary Fuller and Hollie Fuller.

He is also survived by a sister, Beverly and Steve Domiter, Syracuse, and a brother Dean Moore, Fine. He also has a brother-in-law, Bill Hance, Degrasse.

He is predeceased by his parents, a sister, Cindy Hance and a sister in law, DeLima Moore.

A memorial service will be held at the Adirondack Funeral Home, Harrisville, followed by burial in Pitcairn Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
