George J. "Red" Riley, 83, of Watertown
Watertown - A prayer service for George J. "Red" Riley will be at 11:15 am Saturday, February 23rd at the Reed & Benoit Funeral Home followed by a 12 noon Mass of the Resurrection at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church with Rev. Jonas Tandayu officiating.
Spring burial will be in the North Watertown Cemetery. A calling hour will be from 10 am to 11:15 am at the Reed & Benoit Funeral Home.

Mr. Riley, 83, Griffin St., passed away Monday at the Samaritan Keep Home where he had resided since August of 2009.
He was born in Watertown a son of Lyman and Theresa O'Hara Riley. He was raised by Ernest and Hazel Simonds and worked on their dairy farm on Route 37, Pamelia for 63 years. He retired from farming in 1994. George was a member of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church.
He is survived by a nephew, David Bertrand, Central Square; three nieces, Theresa LaDuke, Mattydale; Carol Carrigan, Liverpool; Leta O'Donnell, Syracuse; many great and great-great nieces and nephews; his foster brother and sister, Glenn Simonds, New Hampshire and Marie Oakes, Watertown.
He was predeceased by two brothers, Robert and Lloyd, and two sisters, Anna (infant) and Mary Bertrand.
