OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA Gerald "Jerry" P. Wilson, 65, of NorfolkNorfolk - Gerald "Jerry" P. Wilson, 65, of Marsh Road, Norfolk, passed away on June 11, 2012, surrounded by his loving family and hospice at Massena Memorial Hospital in Massena. Jerry was born on September 23, 1946 in Massena, the son of Glenn and Mabel (Michaud) Wilson. Jerry was employed for a brief period at Reynolds Metals, and later at Metropolitan Oil. He then A marriage to Sandra Beaudin ended in divorce. He later married Sharleen DeShane on September 23, 1995 in Louisville. Surviving Jerry is his wife Sharleen, three daughters, Diane Durant of Massena, Suzanne and husband Raymond Thibault of Massena; Dr.s Joanne and Neil Chichetti of Massena; a step-daughter, Kimberly and Steve LaClair of Massena; 11 grandchildren, two great grandchildren, Benjamin and William; a brother, Alan Wilson of Louisville, NY; several nieces and nephews. Jerry was predeceased by two grandchildren and two brothers, Douglas and Thomas Wilson. Jerry enjoyed camping, hunting, and working in his wood shop. Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society or Hospice & Palliative Care of St. Lawrence Valley. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 16, 2012 at 11:00 am at the Phillips Memorial Home. Friends and family may call on Saturday from 9:00 am until the time of the funeral.
