Jean A. Jenne, 53, of PhiladelphiaJean A. Jenne, 53, of Ore Bed Road Philadelphia passed away unexpectedly Wednesday morning at Samaritan Medical Center after being stricken ill. Jean was born in Gouverneur ,N.Y. on September 9, 1958 the daughter of Herbert J. and Rosalie M. Dawley McEathron. She attended school in Gouverneur. She married Leo (Beep ) Jenne on June 29,2004 in Philadelphia, New York. She was a 35 year member of the VFW Post 6338 in Gouverneur and a member of the Ladies Auxillary in Phliladelphia. Jean worked for the past 4 years at Stewarts Shop in Philadelphia ,N.Y. where she always had a smile and made you feel like family. Jean enjoyed bingo, scratch off tickets, crafts, puzzles, rummage sales, camping, soap operas, daisy flowers and the Ladies Auxillary . Jean's pride and joy were her three grandaughters - Harlie and Riana Jenne and Alexis-Ann Backus. She is survived by her husband- Leo "Beep" Jenne, Philadelphia; her mother- Rosalie M. McEathron, Gouverneur; a daughter- Mrs. Cole ( Sabrina ) M. Jenne, Philadelphia; a son- Mr. Donald ( Tara ) Backus Jr., Rossie; two sisters - Mrs. David ( Julie )Fleming, Philadelphia and Ms. Linda Bickford , Gouverneur; two brothers- Mr. Allen (Sue ) Bayes, and Mr. Herbert McEathron Jr. , Gouverneur; three granddaughters and several nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday May 27, 2012 at the Philadelphia Fire Hall. There will be no calling hours. Donations can be made to the Indian River Ambulance Squad , P.O.
