In loving memory of Joanne R. Wilkins(nee Brownell). Beloved mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Joanne was the heart of her family. She is the daughter of the late Elwin Brownell and Ablerta Hopkins. And the sister of Clara Robinson and the late Ronald Brownell. She is the mother of Stephen Brownell(Annie),Michael Graveline(Dawn), Gigi Pikul(Robert), Joanne Casey(John), and Tracey-jo Wilkins. She is the Grandmother of Jomar, Amy, Brandy, Randy, Michael, Christopher, Myndi, Aaliyah, Jacob, Justin, and Zane Matthew. She is also the loving Great Grandmother of Andrew, Alyessa, Alexander, Haley, Malkenzie, Connor, Randy Jr., and Shyann. In place of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Hospice in Joanne's name. I'll reach for your hand in the cold of winter, I'll reach for your hand in the heat of summer. But if my short life can't reach the dawn of spring I promise, in heaven, I'll reach you with my wings. A funeral service will be held Tuesday May 8, at 11:00 AM, at the Cleveland Funeral Home, Watertown with burial following in Brookside Cemetery.
