Jonathan Adam Trainham, age 36, of Charleston, South Carolina, passed away peacefully on November 17, 2013 with his parents at his side.

Jonathan was born in Watertown, NY on August 9, 1977 to Jack and Patti Trainham. A graduate of Watertown High School, Jonathan attended St. Michael’s College in Colchester, VT and entered the Navy in 1999. He served on the U.S.S. Trenton and was honorably discharged in 2005. Jonathan lived in Vermont before moving to Charleston in 2011.

Jonathan was a talented photographer, loved his music, travel and his family and friends. He was a volunteer worker at the Charleston VA Hospital.

Jonathan is survived by his parents Jack and Patti Trainham; brother Alex; sister Sara Ferringo; brother-in-law Robert Ferringo. He is the grandson of Joseph Hunter and the late Ann Hunter of Fishers Landing, NY and the late John and Alexa Trainham of Watertown, NY. One of the greatest joys in Jonathan’s life were his niece and nephew, Niaomi and Noah Ferringo.

Calling hours will be at Reed and Benoit Funeral Home, 632 State St.  Watertown, NY. Thursday, November 21, from  2 to 4 pm and 6 to 8 pm.

The Funeral Mass will be 11 am, Friday, November 22 at Holy Family Church Watertown, NY with Rev. Steven Murray officiating.
