Kenneth C. Jensen, 53, of 224 Paddock St., Watertown, passed March 20, 2013 at the Samaritan Medical Center.

A funeral mass will be 1:30 p.m. Sat., March 23 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church.  A prayer service will be 1:00 p.m. at the Hart & Bruce Funeral Home with a calling hour preceding the services from Noon until 1 p.m.

Burial with full military honors to take place at Quantico National Cemetery, in Triangle, Virginia at the convenience of the family.

Calling hours will be 6-8 p.m. Fri., March 22 at the funeral home.

Born on September 22, 1959 in Englewood, NJ, son of Robert and Maryann Underwood Jensen, he graduated from Northern Valley Regional High School in 1977.

He was honorably discharged from the United States Marine Corps and subsequently joined the United States Army where he began his 30 year career at Ft. Rucker Alabama, as a Helicopter Pilot, finishing his career as an AH-64 Attack Helicopter Pilot. He served in Bosnia, Operations Desert Shield and Storm, as well as Operations Enduring and Iraqi Freedom.

He was honorably discharged as a Chief Warrant Officer Five on February 29, 2012. His last tour of duty was with the 10th Combat Aviation Brigade where he was the Brigade Tactical Operations Officer. His awards and decorations include the Legion of Merit, and numerous other awards and recognitions.

He is survived by his wife Maura Jensen (nee Fitzgibbons).

Surviving besides his parents and his wife are; his son SSgt Gilbert V. Jensen (USMC) and his wife Sgt Laura A. Jensen, (USMC) who currently reside in Houston, TX; his daughter Katherine R. Jensen, Watertown; his grandson, Kenneth A. Jensen; and his three brothers; Robert Jensen, FL, Timothy Jensen NJ, Thomas Jensen IN; as well as several nieces and nephews.
