Kenneth F. Albro, 30, of Cape Vincent

Kenneth F. Albro, 30, County Route 6, Cape Vincent, died suddenly May 12, at his home.
He was born December 13, 1982, in Livingstone, Montana, the son of Edward and Teresa Peters Albro. He was the restaurant manager at the family business, Snug Harbor restaurant and marina.

Kenny never asked for anything. He was happy with what he had. He was always there for everyone. He cared so much for his family and friends. All he needed to be happy was family, friends, and a cold beer. He loved Snug Harbor. It was his home. He made that place everything that it is. He was goofy, silly, energetic, animated, and fun. Which made his five-year-old nephew Brandon love him most of all. Brandon always wanted to go to "Uncle Kenny's house." And so did everyone else. Kenny was hilarious. He could not resist telling a joke especially at his own expense. His laugh will be caught in all of our minds. It was a sound that made the world a better place.

You could not find a more loyal, dedicated friend; they do not exist. His friendship gave you a feeling of being protected. He was kind and loving even though he would never admit it.  In Brandon's words, "he was my best friend."  We needed him. He was someone we all looked up to and cannot be the same without. He is up there shining down on us. He is our "full moon."

He is survived by his parents, Edward and Teresa Albro, Cape Vincent; a brother and his wife, Shawn and Erin Albro, Three Mile Bay, and a nephew, Brandon Maitland Albro.

Memorial donations may be given in his memory to the Kenneth Albro fund c/o Citizens Bank, P.O. Box 277, Cape Vincent, NY 13618.

Funeral service will be held at the United Church of Cape Vincent, Saturday May 18, at 3:00 p.m., with the Rev.
