Lillian M. Gagne, 92, of MassenaMassena - Lillian M. Gagne, 92, of Parker Avenue, passed away on Dec. 11, 2012 at St. Regis Nursing Home in Massena, surrounded by her loving family. Lillian was born on July 31, 1920 in Canada, the daughter of Pacifique and Dorina (Berlinquette) Goulet. She graduated and completed normal school in Canada. Lillian was an elementary teacher at Sacred Heart School in Massena. She married Abbie Gagne on July 31, 1944 in Valleyfield, Quebec. Mr. Gagne predeceased her on April 21, 2008. Lillian is survived by her children, Carole Martin of New Haven, CT: Connie and Robert Ricci of Manchester, CT: Annalee and Paul McCarthy of Massena: Laurie Gagne and husband David MacEwan of Binghamton, NY: David and Laura Gagne of Massena; nine grandchildren, and six great grandchildren. She was an avid reader and enjoyed doing cross word puzzles. Lillian enjoyed the time spent with her beloved family. Memorial services will be held at Sacred Heart at a later date. Interment will be at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the care and direction of the Phillips Memoriall Home in Massena.
