Mary Lou McCreadie, 70, Aubrey Court, Cape Vincent, passed away Saturday July 19th at the Samaritan Medical Center.

She was born in Port Chester, NY, a daughter to Paul and Mary Rohrberg.  She was a graduate of Watertown High School and the University of Rhode Island.

Following her education, Mary Lou worked for the Wellesley Island Nature Conservancy, later she worked at the North Country Library System, and then the Adams Historical Society.

Throughout her life Mary Lou enjoyed her love of Genealogy, at times doing research for others, and taught genealogy classes through BOCES.  Mary Lou was a member, director and Life Master of the local Bridge club.

She married Dennis W. McCreadie August 22, 1970 at Emmanuel Congregational Church.  He passed September 6, 2004.

Mary Lou is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, Brian A., Watertown; Michael B. and Marianne L. Saranac Lake.  A grandson Alexander R. McCreadie and a granddaughter Lindsey M. McCreadie.  A brother Richard Rohrberg, Rochester.  Two nieces and a nephew.

Graveside services are 3 pm Friday, July 25th at the Riverside Cemetery, Cape Vincent, followed by a gathering at the Cape Vincent Fire Hall.
