The memorial service for Mrs. Emily J. Clark, age 87, will be at noon on Saturday, November 9 at the T.R. Jetty Funeral Home in Clayton with her son, Reverend David Embrey, officiating.

Calling hours will be from 10 am until the time of the service.

Mrs. Clark died October 8th at Summit Village.

Emily was born May 16, 1926, in Clayton, the daughter of Floyd and Mary Robinson Clark. She graduated from Clayton High School.

She then married Thomas Embrey. The marriage ended in divorce.

Emily entered the United States Marine Corps on February 13, 1953, and was honorably discharged April 17, 1954.

She worked for a number of years and retired from the Thousand Islands School District.

Emily was a member of the LaFargeville Church of the Nazarene.

Surviving are two sons, Reverend David Embrey of Arizona and Timothy Embrey of Virginia; eight grandchildren; two great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased by her brother George, and five sisters, Thelma Fluckiger, Frieda Edwards, Jean (Sarah) Clement, Ruth Monteith and Christina Smith.
