Massena - Norma S. Donderwitz, 94 formerly of Whalen Rd, Louisville, died Wednesday evening (December 26, 2012) at the Highland Nursing Home where she had been a resident since 2008.

Funeral services for Norma will be held Saturday (January 5, 2013) 2:00 pm at the Phillips Memorial Home with Rev. Donald J. Manfred officiating.

Family and friends may call Saturday starting at 1:00 pm until the time of services.

Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Massena.

Norma is survived by her daughter, Faye Barnoksi of Johnstown, NY; five grandchildren; Karel, Kyle, Eric, Natasha and Alexa and two great grandchildren.

Norma was born October 20, 1918 in Aura, NY the daughter of Deyo and Mae (Rose) Stryker.

She was predeceased by her sister, Marjorie French.

Norma was married to Anthony J. Donderwitz on February 14, 1937. They were married nearly 70 years when he passed away on February 12, 2007. She and her husband owned and operated Kobbytown kennels, where they were successful at raising cocker spaniels for over 58 years. Norma received many outstanding awards for her prized animals.

Norma attended Sacred Heart Church.
