Ray Lloyd Noble, 69, of Homosassa, Florida, passed away on May 5, 2012 after complications following surgery.
He was born in Syracuse, NY. Ray was a member of St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, Homosassa, Florida.
He lived in Watertown, New York, Germany, and Florida. In Watertown, he was employed by Bomax/Gould and NY Air Brake for many years. Ray was a former member of the Watertown Golf Club.
In Florida, Ray was an AARP Tax aide volunteer because he enjoyed helping others. He was an Envoy member of Beta Sigma Phi. Ray enjoyed fishing, genealogy, reading, computers, and photography.
He is survived by his loving wife, Judie; children, Mark Merle and his wife, Laura of Watertown, NY, Keith Merle and his wife, Christina of Sykesville, MD, John Noble and his wife, Victoria of Flanders, NJ, and Tammy Noble and her husband Erich Frankland of Casper, Wyoming; grandchildren, Jessica, Mark and Ryan Merle, Cameron and Christian John “CJ” Noble, Amber and Conor Frankland, Jennifer Noble Carpenter ; and great grandsons, Ethan and Hayden Coleman.
Predeceased is a son Ray Leslie Noble, died in 1983.
Gathering of friends and family will be held on Thursday, May 10 from 1-3 p.m. with a service to commence at 3 p.m., at D.L. Calarco Funeral Home, Inc. with Reverend Steven Murray officiating. Ray will then be laid to rest at Brookside Cemetery following the service.
