Raymond Donaldson, 73, of FowlerFowler - Raymond ”Razor” Donaldson, 73, passed away Thursday, November 8, 2012 in Watertown. There are no calling hours or funeral services and arrangements are with the Green Funeral Home, Gouverneur. Raymond was born April 2, 1939 in Fowler, the son of Ivan and Doris Edwards Donaldson. Ray graduated from Gouverneur High School in 1957 and served in the United States Navy from 1957 to 1961. He worked many years in Local #322 Laborers Union and was a member of Beaver Lake Hunting Club. Ray enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and trapping. Ray was married to Geraldine Patton, who passed away in 2007. A previous marriage ended in divorce. Ray is survived by four sons, Jeff Donaldson of Potsdam, Tim and Fred Donaldson, both of Gouverneur, Fred Clement of Syracuse; a daughter, Ruth Donaldson of Fowler; several grandchildren and a great grandchild. He is also survived by two brothers, Stanley Donaldson of Gouverneur, Thomas Donaldson of Black River; a sister, Cathy Phippins of North Carolina, several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents and his wife, Geraldine. |
